Josef Rodenstock was ahead of his time
when he said the following in 1877: "Visual
impairments are not a disease, but can be remedied very easily
if you understand the system of vision in its
entirety." We safeguard this heritage still to this
day, and allow it to continue living in all our products and
each one of our Rodenstock innovations.
Our company values are created on that
foundation. They ensure loyalty, motivation, appreciation and
performance both internally and towards our customers.
Thereby, they actively shape our company culture and the
success of Rodenstock.
Company values give employees orientation for their actions and create trust. To know that every employee shares the same values and lives them out consciously promotes team spirit and readiness to accept business responsibility and utilise creative leeway. Even more, our values are rooted in our many years of tradition and are that for which Rodenstock and each individual employee stands. They are our identity and personality, which determine how we reach our goals, shape our working relationship together and act towards customers on the outside.
We do our work gladly and out of conviction - and we radiate that as well. In the process, we tackle our duties with zeal and enthusiasm.
"As entrepreneurs", we take responsibility for what we do and utilise our creative and decision-making freedom. In the process, we always take new paths and learn from feedback and mistakes.
We say what we think, and do what we say. As a role model, our behaviour towards the company, employees, customers and business partners is open, appreciative and loyal.
We give our best possible performance for the entire company. In the process, we are completely motivated and not satisfied with the average.
We delight our customers with our actions, regardless of whether they are external or internal. It is our objective to be professionally successful in the long run and to achieve our professional objectives in the team. We enjoy the success of our work in the process and draw strength and energy from it.
We see our company and management culture as an important competitive edge. Rodenstock and our employees actively promote the formation of our company culture by consciously living out our company values. This results in the following five pillars upon which our company culture is based and for which each individual employee of Rodenstock stands:
We take responsibility for what we do by taking the initiative on our own, utilising our freedom to act and making decisions.
We operate as a team, listen to each other and mutually support each other in the interest of the team as we are able.
We develop systematic strategies and execute them consistently.
We see ourselves as a service provider for our customers by treating them appreciatively, listening to them and recognising their needs.
We stand for "premium" by "serving" our customers in all phases of the working relationship with perfect work and the highest quality standards.
